Davia Young

Stewardship Manager
Davia Young is a lifelong North Carolina resident with a strong commitment to social change philanthropy, community building, and wealth equity. As the former community impact manager at East Fork Pottery, Davia Young cultivated community partnerships and spearheaded philanthropic initiatives in Western North Carolina. Before that, she played a pivotal role as the director of strategic initiatives at CoThinkk, a reputable racial equity-focused giving circle, implementing transformative grant-making initiatives. She graduated from Guilford College with a BA in community and justice studies.
As the stewardship manager at Center for Responsible Lending, Davia is working closely with leadership to develop a high-level stewardship and donor relations program, foster deeper engagement and increase philanthropic support for CRL's important work. Davia's dedication to community reflects her belief in the power of collective action to drive social change. Her unwavering passion for purposeful stewardship, persuasive storytelling, and impactful fundraising makes her an advocate for furthering CRL's mission to create financial fairness and economic opportunity for all, end predatory lending, and close the racial wealth gap.
