Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Suspend Foreclosures for the Holidays

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have decided to halt bank repossessions starting in mid-December, giving the gift of relief to homeowners on the brink of foreclosure this Christmas season. Evictions are expected to resume on Jan. 2, 2013. Bank of America has also put a halt to foreclosures and evictions during the holidays.
