Ashley Harrington

Special Assistant to the President; Counsel

Ashley Harrington serves as a liaison between the CRL president, executive leadership, and team leaders and policy staff that manage day-to-day advocacy and operations at CRL. Based in the DC office, Ashley works with senior managers to mobilize organizational resources around new CRL initiatives.

Prior to joining CRL, Ashley served as Special Assistant to the Chief Diversity Officer and then to the Deputy Secretary for Civil Rights in the Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, working on projects and initiatives ranging from ensuring the language accessibility of state agencies to creating strategies to improve and increase state workforce diversity.

Ashley received her JD from New York University School of Law and her BA in Public Policy Analysis from UNC-Chapel Hill. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys trying new restaurants or staying in and experimenting with new recipes.
